What is Belotero Balance?
Belotero Balance is a hyaluronic acid filler approved by the FDA in 2011 that is meant to be used to fill in areas where volume has been lost. Belotero Balance is meant to treat moderate-to-severe etched-in lines and wrinkles, most notably around the lips and above the lips. Belotero Balance is said to blend naturally and integrate with the structure of your skin, which allows for a highly realistic appearance. Because of this, it also does not restrict or limit your movement or facial expressions like Botox. Belotero Balance is great for fine lines, but can also be used for face contouring, lip augmentation, and more. It’s generally injected more shallowly than Juvaderm, and is massaged into the area after an injection.
How long does it take to see results?
Because Belotero Balance is an injectable filler, you can begin seeing results immediately after your procedure. This allows little to no downtime, which means you can continue performing your day-to-day activities as needed. Keep in mind that as with any injection, swelling, tenderness, and bruising around the injection site is a common side effect that resolves quickly.
How long does Belotero Balance last?
Belotero Balance can last at least six months, but can also last longer*. It is found that areas that experience a lot of movement such as the mouth, lips, and jaw may not last as less static areas.
