As we age, our faces naturally lose hyaluronic acid and collagen, as well as fat and the elasticity in our skin, which can reduce the overall volume in the “apples” of our cheeks. How long does it take to see results?
Results are immediate and can be seen at the end of your appointment. Patients may experience minor swelling around the injection site, however patients can always return for additional injections of Juvederm Voluma XC.
How long does it last?
Juvederm Voluma XC slowly metabolizes over time. Most patients find it can last anywhere between six months to up to two years*.
Juvederm Voluma XC can also be “melted” if the results are too extreme, which can help with patients who are not certain they will enjoy their new look.
