Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC

Struggling with “marionette lines?” Juvederm Ultra Plus XC has you covered.

Years go by, and lines form in the creases of the mouth, the chin, the cheeks, and more. These creases can be deeper for a full face and show more starkly against your skin. Juvederm Ultra Plus XC is a product especially for rounder, fuller faces, to solve this problem.

Unlike some fillers, which can take a long time to heal or require painful recovery, Juvederm Ultra Plus XC has lidocaine as an active ingredient. This shortens recovery, reduces inflammation, and makes the experience far less stressful for the patient.

What is Juvederm Ultra Plus XC?

Juvederm Ultra Plus XC is a smooth hyaluronic gel which works to fill crease lines in cheeks, chin, and mouth areas. It is thicker and fuller than its sister product, Juvederm Voluma XC and is used for clients with fuller cheeks, lips, and mouth. It is also the first hyaluronic dermal filler currently FDA approved for use on persons of color, and shows better standard results than any collagen based dermal filler.

How does it work?

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar in the body which acts as a cushioning agent, softening the space around joints, in the skin, and around bones and organs. When hyaluronic acid is injected into the skin it acts like a sponge, filling up with the body’s natural moisture to bolster and firm trouble areas.

Unlike other dermal fillers, Juvederm Ultra Plus XC is specialized for use on especially deep wrinkles or creases which show up in those with fuller faces and more elastic skin.

How long does it take to see results?

There is little to no recovery time for Juvederm Ultra Plus XC, and results can be seen the same day.

How long does it last?

A single injection of Juvederm Ultra Plus XC can last between 6 and 12 months*, but multiple treatments have shown to improve collagen production in your skin and bolster your natural facial structure*.

What you should know…

Only a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon should administer Juvederm Ultra Plus XC. Juvederm Ultra Plus XC should never be injected too close to or into a blood vessel. If this happens, inexperienced or unqualified practitioners can cause harm by failing to follow up with or act on the problem. Properly licensed practitioners are able to easily neutralize this problem with a quick injection of hyaluronidase, an enzyme which will neutralize Juvederm Ultra Plus XC  in the affected area. If there is any broken skin, ulcer, or swelling, see your physician immediately.
