When hyaluronic acid is injected into the skin it acts like a sponge, filling up with the body’s natural moisture to bolster and firm trouble areas.

How long does it take to see results?

What you should know…
Only a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon should administer Juvederm Ultra Plus XC. Juvederm Ultra Plus XC should never be injected too close to or into a blood vessel. If this happens, inexperienced or unqualified practitioners can cause harm by failing to follow up with or act on the problem. Properly licensed practitioners are able to easily neutralize this problem with a quick injection of hyaluronidase, an enzyme which will neutralize Juvederm Ultra Plus XC in the affected area.
