Beating the Wobble: Kybella and CoolSculpting Mini

If you’re too scared to post a selfie because you are self-conscious about your “turkey neck”, we can help! We offer a highly successful, non-invasive treatment option that can help you better define your chin and neck and do away with submental fat for good. No longer will you have to hide behind a carefully angled selfie – we can help you make all angles dashing and make you feel more confident about your appearance with Kybella.

What is Kybella?

Kybella is an injection which causes the destruction of fat cells. Through the use of a chemical called deoxycholic acid, Kybella breaks down fat and leaves no scarring. While some treatments can leave unsightly puckering, Kybella also tightens the skin around the injection site. It is non-surgical and non-invasive, and the recovery time is very short*!

Is Kybella painful?

There can be some injection site pain for up to 8 hours after an injection of Kybella. Our clients report that simple over the counter oral pain killers manage that pain. Recovery with Kybella can take up to two weeks, but most swelling goes away within 3-6 days.

How many treatments of Kybella will I need?

Most Kybella users require between four and six treatments. The number of treatments you’ll need depends on how much fullness under your chin you need to remove.

What if Kybella isn’t right for me?

Kybella is a treatment used for moderate to extreme neck and chin fullness. If you don’t have enough fat for Kybella, then you’re in luck – Abington Aesthetic Laser Medical Center also offers CoolSculpting Mini!

What is Coolsculpting Mini?

CoolSculpting is a treatment that treats unwanted fat cells and shrinks them using advanced cooling technology. When exercise and yoga is not enough in those specific areas that fat likes to hang on to, CoolSculpting can help! Sessions can take up to an hour, and the results are permanent! You can use CoolSculpting Mini on smaller areas of the body like beneath the chin, the wobble behind the knees, your under-arms, and other smaller areas where fat collects.

How do I know which one is right for me?

Kybella and CoolSculpting are two great options. As with any of our treatments, you’ll need a consultation with one of our skilled and licensed physicians. Your doctor will evaluate the excess tissue under your chin and see which treatment will be best for you. Whether you get CoolSculpting Mini or Kybella, Abington Aesthetic has you covered.

Whether you have just a little extra or more, Abington Aesthetic can help! Call today and beat the wobble!
